Help!!! There must be a trick to installing a new belt. I have the whole dang thing apart and I have my new belt. How do I wrestle the belt onto the drum, get it around the idler pully and hold the thing up while I screw it back on the holding bearing. Some minimum wage guy must do 50 of these a day in a factory. I think I am going to shoot myself.:)

If you have no access cover in the back, you have to reach in under the drum and put the belt on. First, the grooved side goes against the drum in line with the belt marks. Then you pull the idler pulley either to the right or left, rout the belt around the pulley and on to the motor pulley. The belt routing will look either like an inverted S or an S.
