I’ve been having a problem with my dishwasher above and am trying to determine which of these 2 parts (if either) would most likely be the culprit. The Water Inlet System or the Water Level Switch Assemby? My dishwasher is getting water in the bottom pan which trips the red safety lever causing it to go into the drain mode. I cannot see a visible crack or leak. I did notice after taking off the metal cover that there were water stains that lined up with the overflow hole in the Water Inlet System. I've referred to posts from Dennis 3/2008 and Lgraf 4/2008 but all I can get from it is my machine could be "out of level". I guess after 5 years anything is possible. Any advice? Thank You.

Any advice? Thank You. check your detergent many of the newer types (packets, power ball, dawn) cause suds if your dishes are rinsed before loading.run the dishwasher, open the door, look for suds. coffee creamer will combat this. also check to be sure your drain hose did not fall below the level of the counter top. it may be backflow .
