Side by side, freezer working great, the frig is too warm (60deg). The damper automatically closes when the power is turned on so I replaced the control board assembly. Still have the same problem $155 later. Do I try another part (such as the air diffuser assembly or even the thermistor)? I hate to keep buying parts unless I can get better guidance.

What do you mean? The part will not work with the part I installed? The model is 106.52603100. The part number is 8201528.

You have a Whirlpool fridg. They always have the service sheet tucked under the front kick panel. Remove and check the thermistors for proper resistance. If off value just replace. While waiting for parts, unplug your damper motor and jam open 1/2 way the damper door.

I have checked the service sheet as you suggested and ran the suggested diagnostics routine (I am assuming that is what you referred to with "check the thermistors for proper resistance) but they "passed". Any other ideas? What parts are you referring to "while waiting for parts"?

Your problem is impossible for me to figure out. Just order the thermistors, most probable problem even though they tested ok.
