Front bearing (or so they call it) wore down. Replaced about 5 mos ago. Inst. said to make sure paint was good all around lip. No way other than to get new drum or repaint. Now rumbling and wearing again. Any suggestions?

Buy a Whirlpool!!! LOL!! No really!!! LOL!! OK, I will stop now. It definetly went out to early. If you want to keep it. I would put a rear bearing kit, and also the front bearing. But really. I would buy a whirlpool!!! Actually, whirlpool make's there dryer under many different names, like, Estate, Roper, Admiral, Maytag, Kitchenaid!!!!! Tom www.applianceducator.com

I put both bearings in and the front sliders are gone again.

I gave you your answer. Figudaire has had the problem you are having for 20 years. Do you want to keep spending your money on a inferior design, or by a new product???? This is the flat out truth!!!!! No need for advertising here!!! Just my credentials!!!
