I need to replace the lower heating element in my electric stove. I have removed the screws and pulled the element into the oven capacity but cannot figure out how to remove the power wires. Can any one help?

Well normally the wires just pull off of the element terminals where the wire spades just slide onto the element plug ends, however some have screws that hold the wires on....cannot see what you have without a model number to get a pic of your element however.....we have to hope you either unplugged your range or cut the breakers off to the unit so you do not get electrocuted since one side feeds at all times even with the oven turned off????
