Today my dryer stopped turning. The blower is still working and heating. I looked for my model number online, 110.96529100 but could not find any reference. I took apart the top cover and back cover, and saw there was a black belt at the back of the dryer going around the drum that was not broken.

I don't see where the belt connects to a motor. Everything is enclosed, even after removing the top and rear panels. Any assistance in getting my dryer running again would be great.

Thanks

Pull your front panel off and check the belt and idler pulley, the belt may have slipped off the idler pulley.

How does the idler/pulley fit in the bottom of the dryer and how does the belt go around the motor and pulley? I have too much slack in the belt.
