please help my whirlpool electric dryer wont heat, when i turn the dryer on and once the cycle stops my clothes are still wet and cold

Start by thurning the breaker off then back on, try the dryer again. If that didn't help pull the dryer out use a 1/4" drive to remove the rear panel, use an ohm meter to test each thermostat and the element for continuity. If you don't have continuity that's the part you need to replace. And you might want to vacuum out the insides while you have it apart. Here's your parts breakdown Model WED5500SQ0 Nat
