The dryer timer doesn't work which make the heaters not work correctly. But if I check it once say 20 min. after it starts usually the timer will work after I check and open the door once. Any ideas?

Usually a timer will become intermittent due to burnt contacts inside. If you wiggle the knob and it stops, you have confirmed this. You can order your timer by clicking on your model # above.
