Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/3/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		I have a Microwave. Oven turns on when you open the door. Light comes on and turntable turns if you open the door. If you close the door, m/w acts normal and will stop/start with the control. I think door switch but which one? There are 3. Your diagram shows 2 different numbers, but both show same part #. Are all three switches the same, or is this a mistake?....and does this problem sound like door switch? Thanks,

There are three door switches in this microwave: 2 interlock and one monitor (#2 & #3). The interlock switch has two terminals: COM and NO. The monitor switch has two terminals as well, but they are: COM and NC. The are two switches with three terminals each in the kit supplied by Whirlpool. That's why they shown with the same part number. A little tricky getting those stupid torx screws with the "tit" in the middle out...but read on your forums to use a small screwdriver. Once I got inside, it was obvious which switch was bad but changed them both anyway. Thanks for the help, quick reply, reasonable prices, etc. You guys ROCK.
