Hello,

I am desperate for help! I have a 18 month old microwave (PVM1870SM1SS). We were warming up food the other day and it went complete dead. No power at all.

I took off the out jacket and found the 2 ceramic fuses. I believe they tested out OK (o ohms), however, they have a black line around the middle. Does this indicate failure?

If not the fuses, could anyone please comment on what else to look for?

You help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, This is Wendy from GE. I saw your post about your microwave not working and am sorry about that. Since it is an over the range model and likely still has some warranty, you may want to call GE Service at 1-800-432-2737. Feel free to also email us at eresponse@ge.com if you want to share any other details.
