Turntable not turning. Took plate off and tried to spin by hand - get lots of resistance. Any suggestions? I'm semi-handy, but if it's pretty involved (new motor, etc.), then I'll take my lumps by calling Sears. Thanks!

The turntable motor is probably exactly what you need. If this isn't something you think you can handle I would call a tech in your area. the part number you need is AP2024962 (only $29.28 from this site) Nat

Thanks so much for the reply and information. Can't beat the price of the part on this site, that's for sure. I may give it a shot in terms of replacing the motor by myself. I know how to turn the breaker off, that's a good start, no? :) Access is from underneath the unit, I assume. I may be back with more questions! Thanks again!

Thanks, Nat. I really appreciate the help. If I can take the old one out, I'm assuming I can put the new one in!
Best,
Kurt
