Our dryer will dry a load of clothers, it just takes two runs. We're assuming it's not getting as hot as it should. Any ideas on what to check? I opened the back and removed the coil. Instead of the bayonet I've seen on Kenmores, this is a series of coils. Can the temp control be malfunctioning? Thanks.

Pull the vent off the back of dryer and measure the temperature, should be around 145 degrees. If not you probably have a burnt wire somewhere.

I'll borrow a thermocouple from work tomorrow and check it out> I'm assuming it should be this temp with the dryer empty? Thanks.
