Hello, I just got a part from appliance parts pro (Board Assm Mounted AP4380181) from you for my GE washer. The old board wouldn't let us turn on the machine-buttom on board defective). I have installed it (easy job). All the green lights keep flashing and the washer won't turn on. I have tried to reset washer by unplugging for two minutes. Any advice?

Your thinking is right, but to reset things you need to follow the instructions that are at the bottom of the page on this site here.

HydroWave GE Washer Repair Guide

If that does not work, see if you are getting a flashng light on the inverter on the motor, which is an error code, and also check the fuse per instructions on that site.

I think you may be talking about the lights on the control panel (user interface). When you replace the board there is a model select plug. This plug is simply a plug with a jumper wire and is not connected to anything so a lot of people leave it off. When this plug is left off the washer will not do anything besides the lights blinking. Look on your old board to see if there is a plug with only a jumper and if so put it on your new board.
