I have an 11 year old Kenmore refigerator that runs all the time. Both the freezer and the fridge itself are about 8 degrees celsius colder than they should even with the temperature setting set to it's lowest setting. There is no frost in the freezer. The compressor and the fan are both always running. Thanks for giving me advice in advance. P.S. The food in the fridge freezes unless I turn it off.

If the unit uses a thermostat, it sounds like it is toast (contacts welded together).
