Gene, please help?

Kenmore 80 series top load washer
Model # 11023832100

I repaired the original problem and replace the motor coupling. Now washer wont stop filling with water and the water level knob is not working when i change the setting to small/medium/large load.

We made the motor coupling repair ourselves is it possible my HUSBAND did not connect the wires properly?

Have him check to see if he accidentally unplugged the pressure switch tube, looks about like a tube for medical oxygen.
