Thanks, Vince Vince, Could you please varify the model number, I could not find that model in the Sears web sight, we use, and the closest matching model has no parts available any longer. I was thinking you need a new set of spin hub brake shoes, but cannot varify that. :confused: :cool:

I would be looking at the clutch Part number: 285785 Which is part no. AP3094537 here. The clutches wear down and then they don't have enough gripping power to spin up the tub. A lot of the time the top of the gearcase will have clutch pad dust all over it, which is a good sign the clutch is worn out.
