...heard a beeping sound in the freezer... How it is covered - 100% or less? Is it snow or ice? There is nothing in the freezer what can beep. May be that sound was kind of sizzling? Gene.

Gene. evaporator is covered in snow, 80%. Noise is the evaporator motor which is spinning slowly and has what appears to be rust around the bottom.

evaporator covered approx. 80
evaporator covered approx. 80% with snow. Also the noise is coming from the evaporator motor which is spinning slow to start and makes the beeping noise.

Quote:...Noise is the evaporator motor which is spinning slowly and has what appears to be rust around the bottom... Most likely this is the problem. The new motor should fix it. Unfortunately it is on the manufacturer back order. You can call the APP customer service to find out the ETA. - The evaporator fan motor Part number: AP2071868
Gene. P.S. Please don't duplicate yours replies. It does not do any good.
