I recently purchased a home with a built in Maytag Dishwasher Quiet Series 300 Model #MDB7600AWS. The previous owners did not leave an owners/repair manual or diagram. I 'm pretty good at fixing things, but don't have the first clue about dishwashers. Can anyone help me?? The unit fills, somewhat washes, but doesn't drain. Thanks

If you search for the parts diagram using the model number and manufacturer then usually you can locate a parts diagram . With that most of the time you can deceifier how things work and what is needed to be replaced or fixed. They aren't all that complicated. Just friendly advice. Thanks.

You are in luck, this is a popular unit and there is lots of info available for it.

Here is your parts breakdown
Replacement parts for MAYTAG MDB7600AWS | AppliancePartsPros.com

Here is an operators manual. It is for an AWW but yours should be close

Here is a service manual. tech sheet and a diagnostics flow chart

Could be just a dirty filter and/or a clogged drain.
Open up the wash pump from inside the unit and give it a check/clean.
Can you hear it trying to drain. If yes then check the drain hose for clogs.
Often where the unit connects to the house plumbing stuff will collect and eventually stop the drain.

With the above info and the following link which has basic dishwasher repair help you should be able to fix it or at least give a better diagnostic on what is happening.
