Whirlpool Duet ModGEW9200LW1  No matter what cycle I set, before cloths are dry it shuts off and F-1 showes in the time screen. I cleaned all the dust out from inside of the back. Is there a part I could install my self to correct this problem?

I have checked the technical data sheet(usually in the control panel of the unit)and find no F1 code. I do find an E1 code, this indicates a failure of the temperature thermistor sensor on the blower housing (see and click number) Part number: AP3919451
The resistance of the thermistor is 10,000 ohms at room temperature, and can be checked at the main control board( located under top of dryer on left side of cabinet) at connector P2 from pin 5 to pin 6 for resistance on harness. If you should choose, replace thermistor, it is located on the blower housing.

From Michael's email:
"I have located the part and ordered it. Thank you so very much for your leading me to the part that is the problem. I could not have done this on my own. It was E-1, The dryer is on top of the washer and I could not see the bottom of "E". The service on this site is what the world needs more of. Thank you so very much again.
