We just replaced the safety valve, manufactuers part number of 3195008. We have replaced all gas lines to the proper places and used teflon tape on all threads for snug fits. When we turn the oven on to preheat the, what we believe to be the ignitor, is glowing and red hot, but the gas doesn't seem to make it into the tube running from the ignitor to the front of the oven. We are on LP gas. Is there a pilot light that needs to be re-lit? If so, where? Thank you!!!! Please help, we have been without an oven for about a month and thank goodness it is summer....... :)

Sounds like your ignitor may need to be replaced. If you have an ohm meter, unplug it and test for continuity. If none replace the ignitor.

One other tid bit.....the LP companys around here do not recommend teflon tape for gas fittings. We a putty type stuff for gas lines. Just make sure your connections are good and tight with no leaks. Nat
