Recently moved into a house with a Bosch washer. It will not drain correctly. If I disconnect hose, it will drain (even when elevated to sink level) but connected, it won't. Sink is draining okay, disposal is working okay. Any suggestions? thanks so much

Is this a new home or new disposal ? the Knock out plug on the disposal (where the dishwasher drain hose or anti syphon device connects)may not have been removed

Check for a clog in the drain line, where the dishwasher drain hose connects to the disposal or anti syphon device connection. A restriction or clog at these points could also cause a poor or no drain situation.

thanks so much for your reply.

house is ten years old, with a septic tank that has never been pumped. I have called to get it pumped, no drain issues with anything else in the house.

Where did you find the clog ? at the drain hose connection to the disposal or somewhere else ? occasionally you will get a piece of debris in the drain line and it will fluctuate and eventually clog and not drain but you should have solved that problem when you tested for drain with the hose off the disposal.
