my kenmore 90 series washer slams to a stop if you open the lid during spin cycle or on its own at the end of the spin cycle. So hard that it moves the machine. I read up on this and it seems this is a brake issue....are the brakes accessible/ serviceable by myself? is there something to adjust or is this a removal/replace? any help, walkthrough or pointing me in the right direction for steps and parts would be helpful. I am not sure if the washer is more than 5 years old, it is probably right around that age.
