Last week I found a puddle of water on the floor around our washer, Kenmore washer series 80 model #110.23832100. After moving it outside & examing the floor it seems the washer has been leaking for awhile as the floor was saturated down to the subfloor & insulation and then into another room. I figure whatever was leaking finally let loose and dumped water on to the floor. I haven't taken it apart yet but I looked underneath and saw a leak near the pump but can't really see much. Before I start tearing it apart (and possibly breaking something) do you have any ideas where I should start? What part(s) would break and dump water? Thanks in advance.

Most likely the problem is a bad water pump. You have to remove the washer cabinet to access it. The instructions are attached to the reply.

I took your instructions and was able to remove the leaking pump. I ordered a new one from you, installed it and now my machine works great. Thank you so much!
