I can't find the defrost timer in my french door, bottom freezer refrigerator. Is it seperate, or in the electric control panel in the top? How do I start it running if it is in the control panel? Where did they hide it?

Thanks...

It is part of the control panel located in the fresh food section. If your unit is not defrosting, test your heater and termination limit control with an ohm meter to determine continuity. If both pass the continuity test, you must replace the control board, you cannot "get it going" manually, as it is not a mechanical timer, but an electronic device.
