I read in an old post this problem was "keypad membrane". Not sure if this would apply to my model? Is this easy to replace? Is it worth fixing a 6 year old unit? Appreciate any guidance.

Hi Rob,

The model number you posted does not come up. Verify and repost it, please.

Gene,

Sorry. Correct model number is JVM1860SD002. Thanks. (I plugged in a couple times over the weekend and it worked for one cycle....it would then restart automatically again) Strange.

Hi Rob,

The "F3" error code means a shorted key on the key pad. The key pad is a part of the control panel which has to be replaced. Is it worth or not you have to decide based on the condition of the unit.

- The part number for the control panel is AP3669104

Here are the break down diagrams for the GE microwave Model JVM1860SD002
