My GE advantium microwave display has gone out. The unit work and does everything except the display is out. Before I take it apart would it have a fuse to correct it? I believe I took a power surge during a storm since I lost a connection on a computer that was upsstairs over this unit.
Everything on the microwave is fine except for the display.
Any suggestions?

If the display has to be changed how hard is that and does anyone have a part number.

Thanks

There are 3 boards in there, most likely it is the led display board, Part Details - GE Led display, part number: WB27X10332

There is no fuse for this. I cannot say for certain if it is this board, or the main board, kind of a crap shoot. It is not too difficult to replace, but there are a few hidden screws to get the thing apart to change it.
