Hi, I have a problem with clothes coming out of the dryer and have tears in them...I noticed the cylinder seal has torn away in an area. Just wondering how hard it is to replace. Do I have to take whole unit apart? How does it get installed? Is there a groove it sits in? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you , Dave Freeman

Here are your parts

Here is a service manual

See page 36 in the manual.
It looks like the seal is glues on (Item 19 in Section 19 of the parts.

Yes you have to open it right up so you might as well check all moving parts in the unit and the front drum glides (supports).
Basically give it an overhaul.

Clean the interior including the blower wheel.
Also a good time to clean/check your vent system.
