applianceman, I tried to run the washer through a cycle and it seems to stop after filling. It doesn't agitate, pump water out, spin or anything unless I turn the knob myself, then it spins, but doesn't empty. Is there anything I can do here? I'm at a loss:-(

I answered before I saw your reply - but I think we are on the same page aside from now it seems to freeze up without my help to turn it to spin - there are no funny noises - just silence. I'm working on having someone look at it w/ a meter and plugging everything in again/tighter.....

Is there any chance the spinning motion would push any water out without the pump running? Because now water will 'pump' out for about 5 seconds @ 2 different times throughout the spin cycle, but not all of it -it seems to only be functioning half way. It also seems to be spinning slower too - it was doing that before. It fills fine, but sits in silence until I turn the knob, no agitating, and spinning slower than it typically would in what would be the normal spin cycle, and still has water in the bottom of it. This is no easy fix, is it?

It doesn’t seem to be an easy fix. At this point I don’t know what to tell you to check timer maybe but I can’t tell you how to check it.
