Coils in freezer are freezing up and preventing cool air into frig.
Both freezer and frig temps perfect before coils start to frost up.
As this happens frid temps start to rise. Manual defrost of coils with hair dryer will temp fix problem but always frosts up again. This process can take between a couple weeks or a couple months although it seems to happen faster now.

Maytag side by side.

This sounds like the adaptive defrost board #13 on you control parts breakdown. Note that I can be the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat but on this model more often it’s the control. You can check the heater with a ohmmeter. Refrigerator repair guide

Is the defrost thermostat the bimetal one that is hard wired into the defrost heater element? The clip on part above the coils?
Thank you,
