Refrigerator model no. is WRS588FIHZ00. Model No. on the side of the ice maker is W10771736A. It's an in-door ice maker. I think it probably stopped making ice due to the filter needing to be changed, so I changed it. I then reset the filter on the front panel, but it still didn't make ice overnight. I turned the ice maker on and off to see if it would reset and also changed the setting on the front panel to fast ice to see if that would do anything. I took it apart to see if the water line was iced up. Nope. Still no ice. Is there a reset button somewhere on this ice maker? I can't find it. And BTW the water still works fine. Any ideas? What typically goes wrong with these types of ice makers?

Check the wires on the bottom of the Freezer door. Whirlpool's POOR design allows the opening and closing of the freezer door to bend the wires every time you open and close it. Eventually the wires break and the ice maker stops working because it has no power. I have repaired our fridge at least 4 times since new. NOT FUN.
