Hi Folks!

New user here about to throw out my new to me 2 year old GE Combination Washer & Dryer

Worked perfect until one month after the warranty expired.

At that time, it would intermittently add water during the dry cycle leaving your clothes soaking wet. It's getting worse now.

This is a condenser dryer. It was always run on a quality surge suppressor because I thought, right away, something could happen to the electronics.

Anyway, I changed out the cold water valve (4 valve manifold) and then bought the WiFi option thinking it might have a firmware upgrade available - it doesn't

I then took the plenum off and cleaned debris from the fan blades and the condenser. The plenum itself is clear. The heating element is hot. Airflow is high. No codes are present.

The problem remains. When the dry cycle is almost done, typically with 25 minutes remaining for cool off, it injects a ton of water into the tub soaking everything. Btw, this is a common problem that no repair people appear to be able to solve.

On a side note, it has a pressure switch that looks like a vacuum hose goes to it. Any idea what that does? Edit: My guess is that's what it uses to determine if there is water pressure and to set the H20 code...

Any ideas before I lose my nut?
