washer will fill with water and agitate ,it will drain water ..will not run on spin cycle any ideas what i should check? sincerely carl.

Hi Carl

The first thing you want to do is check the lid switch. You can do this by unplugging the machine and then taking out the two screws that hold the console to the top and flipping back the console.

You will see a plastic connector coming from the console with the other end going into the cabinet. Disconnect this and using an insulated solid electrical wire insert each end into the outer holes on the connector coming from the console. This will by-pass the lid switch.

Plug the machine back in, move the selector to spin and engage it. If the machine spins, replace the lid switch.
