Dryer Model: 110.8888291

The timer on my Kenmore 90 Series Electric Dryer is not advancing. The dryer is tumbling and heating. I am not sure which timer I need to replace the malfunctioning one.

When I type in my model number online nothing comes up.  The model number on the timer and the timer itself appears to be different from timers used on similar models.

Also, I opened it up and tested it with a multimeter. The timer motor is not working and two of the contacts inside of the timer shows signs of arching and melting.

Would you be able to suggest a compatible replacement timer?

There might be a timer on E bay that will fit and work on your machine. Take a look but make sure it is of the correct mounting arrangement

Did you ever find a timer of the type you need as I have a couple in my spare parts box and would be happy to send one to if knew which type. Tom H in zip code 61571
