I need to find out the part to fix the F1 error code on my washer (Serial # CU 0270602). Other blogs have suggested a new circuit board, a new machine/motor control assembly or a new electronic control with the part # 26.110 W1018966. The problems: a few seconds after starting, the machine will stop the washer, unlock the lid and flash the F1 error code. So far, I've been able to stop and restart the machine a few times and then it will finish out the cycle just fine. The past day or two, though, I've had to unplug it, wait 15 seconds, and replug it in just to get it to start in the first place, then I have to babysit it through the F1 error code start/restart procedure. We can replace the part ourselves, but we do need to figure out which part(s) to purchase. Thanks so much for your time!!

Roxie, Check the air dome transducer hose first, (the clear plastic tube that goes from the control board to the right side of the outer tub connection) for kinks, clogs, twists,etc. If the hose is OK, Yes, you will need to replace the control board. Roxie, As I understand it, You replaced the CCU , and checked the airdome hose, Now, your machine has a fill problem, then you heard a POP and now you have a "LF" code, is that correct ? You noticed nothing else wrong before contacting the APP Team, other than the "F1" code ? The "LF" code indicates a long fill cycle, Are you sure the fill hose(s) weren't kinked , when you moved the machine back into position ? Are the fill hose and valve screens clogged with debris from the water pipes ? Is the tub "stuck " on the drive sprocket ? (you should be able to grasp the spin tub top ring, and lift the tub up 1/2 to 3/4", without any difficulty). Are you sure none of the wires to the motor or pumps, were dislodged , or loose, when you checked them ? The air dome hose was not twisted or kinked when the repair was finished ? If all of the above are OK and check proper, I reccomend you replace the motor control and harness, we're getting a false / improper input to the CCU. Part number: AP4327312
You may also want to return the CCU you orderred for a replacement, just in case that "pop" noise was a shorted circuit. Good Luck, :) :) :)

Hi Joe! Thanks for responding to my post. We replaced the control board with the part Appliance Parts Pros.com sent. Now we are getting the LF error code on certain wash cycles. The washer will not fill and I know it's not dispensing liquid fabric softener. When it stops the washer with the LF code, the only thing I can do is turn the machine off, let it drain, then restart it using the rinse/drain cycle. Any suggestions? We never had this problem before with the LF code...could it be a defective control board? I really appreciate the time and effort you're putting toward our problem. Thanks so much!

Roxie, I see you got my previous post, I don't recall exactly, but you're on the second or third control board, and I don't think another will solve the problem. That's why I directed you to the air dome hose and bellows,and harness to the motor. You also need to check the drain pump for debris, calcium and detergent build up inside the pump. Then, if all checks are good, your next move would be to install the motor control kit, I reccomended in the previous post. There is a miscommunication between the the CCU(main control board) and the lower components or harness. That's why the manufacturer composed the kit. I'm pretty sure if you do all the checks and replace the motor control kit, you'll be fine from there on. :) :) :)

On my Kenmore 110.27032600 washer, I was able to remedy the F1 code very, very simply.
Boil about 4 cups of water. Carefully pour 2 cups of the boiling water into the place where you pour detergent (front left side on mine). Pour the remaining two cups boiling water into the place where you pour bleach (rear left on mine).
F1 error indicates that the tubes that carry detergent/bleach are clogged. The boiling water will unclog the tubes.

R Henry, Thanks for your input, it will come in handy for future reference for those that may have a dispenser issue or erratic error codes in their "Cabrio" washer. Like all error codes in most products, they are "indications" of issues and can be as much as 98% accurate. But there's no 100% accuracy. Thanks Again,

I had this F1 error and it was the drain hose that was clogged with gunk.
I removed both the one inside the washer(that connects to the pump) and the one outside the washer that goes to your drain.
I was able to remove quite a bit of nasty stuff (water was definitely being restricted). After cleaning and reinstalling, washer works great and no more error code!
