I have a Frigidaire frss2623as0 side by side refrigerator/freezer. What happens frequently is that the fan behind the ice maker starts making a loud noise - like the blade are hitting ice. I have to defrost the freezer for a couple hours to get the noise to stop.
I think water is spilling from the chute/tube while filling the ice tray and is running down and freezing where the fan is.
I've already turned the freezer to the lower cold setting. No change.
Is there any fix for this? Is there any revised part to fix the issue?
