Several times in the last month my wife has complained of tiny beads of grease being present on clothes after they are washed. This washer is 30 years old and has served us very well. The wife would like to keep this machine as opposed to purchasing a new one. My thoughts are the grease must be coming from the transmission, probably from a seal failure. After just retiring from working in maintenance for 40 years, changing the tranny will be no problem. I am just looking for confirmation the trouble is the transmission. TY
