This is a 7 year old Speed Queen - the one that's just like all the Top -Load washers from the last 40 years - and the first one that I've encountered with this problem.

It's like the "moaning" sort of noise we see in older washers but more grinding

What I'm asking, in addition to guesses is -- what parts should I bring with me considering it's 100 miles from a repair shop?
