My Maytag washer LAT8616AAE - top load - is stuck and making a buzzing sound.
What is causing this buzz sound? Can it be fixed?
I have the sound on a recording, but don't know how to upload the file with this message.

My research shows that it might need a capacitor. Does this machine use a capacitor?
If so, is the part available?
What is the part number?

I already replaced the lid switch.
I'm desperately trying to save this old Maytag washer.
