I have a GE side by side Model #: GSS25SGPC SS that stopped cooling on both the freezer and fridge side (compressor & fan were not coming on). I replaced the mother board and the fridge works again but I am having problem with the ice maker.

The old board had a burn mark on the solder mark of the compressor relay.

The ice maker green light is on but doesn't cycle. I reset the ice maker and it cycled once and that was it. It tried to fill the tray with water but the solenoid only activated for less than 1 sec.

Ice maker was working fine up until I installed the new mother board.

The board I installed is WR55X10942 which says is compatible with my model fridge. The board was setup a little different than the original.

Is the ice maker problem related to the new board (not compatible) or is it a different issue? What should I check?

Thanks.
