It's the darndest thing, my whirlpool washer has a lid switch on the frame, but there is no plug to be found from the wiring harness to go into it. The washer still operates fine with it un-connected. However, when the lid is opened, the washer continues to operate...BUT, if I open the lid completely and push a little on the hinge, the washer pauses. How can it do this with no connection?? I'm stumped, but if I had to guess maybe a ground is somehow involved?
