So our 2014 Kenmore Washer fills fine. Then goes to wash mode and starts to agitate. It does this for about 30 seconds then quits. It finishes the wash time and finishes the cycles and the clothes ends up spin dryed at the end. So everything works fine except it doesn't agitate the whole time it should.

I doubt it is the timer, because it runs through the different stages and ends fine.
I doubt it is the gearing, because it does work.

Is there a separate electronic timer for the agitator that has gone bad? Any input is welcome.
