Above is a video showing the noise my washer is currently making (starts around the 8 second mark)

It doesn't start/complete the spin cycle and makes the noise heard in the video as it tries to start the cycle. I've replaced the shift actuator since that was the error originally diagnosed but to no avail. I used the chat on the site to talk to a tech who said if the noise is described as a jet taking off that it is probably the bearings, which is apparently bad news for my model because i'd have to buy an entire gearcase.

Just wanted to throw the Question out to someone who may have had the same issue before i end up spending the same amount trying to fix it as a new machine would cost.
