Maytag mdb7759awb3 halts mid-cycle and blinks steadily. I've read about the blink codes and there are no pauses. This just blinks constantly. Generally the machine won't restart unless I run it through diagnosis mode. I have not checked the heater element, which I know is a common cause of issues because it has not tripped the blink code for that because the unit is a pain to pull out because of connections. I'd play parts roulette with a relatively inexpensive element. The other major thing that seems to be indicated in forums is the control panel which is not a parts roulette item.

What further diagnosis can I / should I do?
