French door, bottom freezer unit. freezer stopped working and thawed food. top lost its cool also. Coils are clean, all the fans are running, lights are working. Checked capacitor with ohm meter, showed ok. Checked resistance of compressor, was 8 ohms. Checked all pins, none are grounded. No error messages on front display, no flashing LED on circuit board. Current fuse thing also shows continuity. Im almost ready to call the service guy. what did I miss?

It's the relay, and it's likely on the inverter board ( soldered on ). The board cost around $180. You could replace the relay on the board..................or just use a 3 in 1 hard start capacitor. They cost about $10. It replaces your start capacitor, overload, and relay.
