FFHS2611LWF Fridgedair.

Trying to diagnose my fridge issue. Freezer started to seem colder than normal and ice cream turns to ice blocks. Noticed the fridge side is warmer than it should be. No air flow from the damper control, did notice a tiny frost/snowflake in it. Haven't been able to open it up yet. Not sure I even have the tool to do so. It makes a tiny whine sound now and then.

It's just now begun beeping about being too warm.

Could be a bad evaporator/freezer fan.

Should be ale to get at it fairly easily.

Hello !
The Whirlpool Refrigerator was manufactured in 2006. The freezer is on top and is able to keep everything frozen. The refrigerator light works, but I am not sure that I can feel any air blowing and it definitely is not cold. Over the past week or so it has been getting progressively less cold. Also, water is collecting in the bottom underneath the drawers.

I unplugged it and let it sit for a few minutes before plugging it back in. I checked the back and there is sufficient air flow.

Any ideas what can be causing the problem?

What can I check?

Thanks

Kenmore Coldspot Model 10659562990.
Freezer fine; Refrigerator warm.
Checked coils, icing, damper, etc., all good.
Problem is that the defrost heaters on the doors are always ON.
Already replaced Defrost Timer. Door heaters are still always on.
I am stuck.
Any thoughts, please?

Whirlpool Dual evaporator WRX988SIBM03 not cooling properly.

Freezer is fine and the fridge stays around 44 degrees. I have checked the back of the freezer and there is not ice build up at all. The fridge also has what looks like an evaporator cooler as well in the produce area. This area will tend to SLOWLY build up ice. Every week I take it apart to melt with hot water but does not seem to keep fridge any cooler. Both freezer and fridge fans work. I am at a lose. HELP!!!

I am having the exact same problem. Same refer. Same ice build-up in the same place. Mine is just over two years old and has been junk since we got it. Too much to post here, but if you find out how to fix this thing, please let me know.

I'm having the same problem with our Kelvinator refrigerator. It really takes some time before some of the items to cool.

Hello,

I have a PSW23PSRASS and the refrigerator shows 37, however when I put an infrared gun to it it shows between 45-55 throughout the refrigerator compartment. It does show 40 at the grille sensor (thermsistor)

The interesting thing is that by the grille sensor (sensor) is located on the wall that is shared between the refrigerator and the freezer. Right below the grille sensor, is the tube that connects the freezer evaporator with the refrigerator.

That area in the refrigerator section would form ice balls.
Prior to and after installing WR49X10180 (De Ice Ball kit), the temperature still shows above 45.

If I leave the turbo cool on, it seems to be better at keeping the rest of refrigerator at the same temp.

I'm thinking about moving the thermsistor to the middle of back of the fridge, or even all the way to the outer wall.

Thoughts? Anyone else face this issue?

thx
df
