Wall-mount dual oven is behaving like temperature sensor on lower oven requires replacement. I removed the two screws holding the temperature sensor but it does not appear that the sensor is removable from the front of the oven (sensor does not come out enough to access wiring)

Does the oven need to be removed from the wall to access the sensor from the rear of the appliance? Or, do I need to disassemble more of the inside of the lower oven to access the sensor?

Model was ww2780w-c. For what it's worth, on mine, the wires leading to the connector the sensor is attached to are too short to pull through the front of the oven for testing/replacement. I needed to remove the oven from the wall cabinet to check/test the sensor.
