Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/11/2017(UTC) Posts: 2		No spin and no sound from motor. Fuse was blown, bypassed it but no flashing light on motor. Lid switches are fine. Replaced control board, no luck with motor light still. Wont go to diagnostic mode with old or new control board. Dead motor or motor electronics? Thoughts?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/2/2017(UTC) Posts: 422		You mean you bypassed the hidden fuse on the white/red wire in the motor harness? If so check for 120v at the motor. If you have it the whole motor/board is one unit and probably something on that board has burned up. That LED should flash at all times. Slowly at ready mode, faster during operation, or a code. No LED means no board function.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/2/2017(UTC) Posts: 422		Yes indeed. That's not a thermal fuse in appliance repair language. Thermal fuses are on dryers and some refrigerators. I was confused for a minute that I had answered the wrong question. Although it works the same way pretty much. I think it's a 3 amp fuse on the motor neutral. It's also not shown on any diagram that I've ever seen even when I worked for them. If you decide to change that motor watch a YouTube video or two about it because there are some tricks that will make it a lot easier. That motor is a pretty high dollar part. Hopefully you can find a good deal on one.
