Will someone please tell me what this clear plastic tubing is that I circled in the picture? I cleaned the washing machine with a gallon of vinegar and it cleaned all of the gunk that I had built up. Now when I start the washing machine it will keep flowing and overfill the tub as I found out.......I guess i'm trying to find the sensor or whatever would stop the filling at the requested setting.

That is the pressure sensor tube. Air pressure in the hose changes as the water fills. The other end of that tube attaches to the water level selector switch on the control panel. If either end is off, or is plugged or blocked with gunk build up, it can no longer transfer the pressure changes to the selector switch, and it will just keep filling until you shut it off. Remove the hose from the tub, and use a pipe cleaner or something like it to clean out the end of the hose as well as the inside of the nipple the hose attaches to. Here is a video on YouTube that shows that hose problem!
