Haven't seen this one addressed. The washer is a 10 year old GE Super Capacity Plus (WWSE5240G0WW) that has only about 4 or 5 year's of actual use. Machine cycles thru but at agitate and spin points of cycle, nothing happens. I have verified lid switch is good, belt is intact, and I can spin the pulley manually; I have confirmed continuity on the line to motor circuit (there is no fuse). On advice of another "expert", installed a new motor......but condition still not corrected. Neither the old motor or the new one seems to have "status LEDs" that Ive seen mentioned in other posts, and YOUTUBE videos. I should mention that the machine sat idle and unplugged for several months, and worked fine prior to that downtime.

The next step is to check the status LED on the top of the motor. The LED is best viewed from the right front of the motor, 1.5" back and 1" into board. Attached file might help.
