I replaced the four bearing slide plastic shims and put a new plastic piece that they attach to on my dryer and now the drum will not turn. Should I take a shim out? its like it is to tight to turn. It will run for about one minute with no clothes in it.

It needs the 4 slides, should be 2 green 2 white. It'll destroy the new bearing otherwise. I've changed hundreds and never had them be too tight if installed correctly. Something else is going on.
When it stops can you immediately restart it? If not how long do you have to wait?
Do you have to do anything like open/close the door to restart it, other than press the start switch?
